Wednesday, January 20: Living the Questions
7:00 p.m. These sessions start with a brief section from a DVD in which contemporary theologians discuss some of the philosophical problems Christians face. Discussion follows. This may sound forbidding, but the presentation has been very approachable and the discussions lively. Come as you are.
Saturday, January 23: Chili Cook-Off
5:30 p.m. Another food event, and you can even vote for your favorite chili! We've been doing this for years, and it continues to become more popular.
Tuesday, January 26: Book Discussion
7:00 p.m. This month, we'll be discussing the new bestseller by Mitch Albom, Have a Little Faith.
Saturday, February 6: Souper Bowl Supper and Swing
5:30 p.m. $6.00 gets you an endlessly refillable bowl of soup; desserts available for an extra charge. Thousands of churches around the country do this; at 6:00, we add the big band sound of Jay Macko's Community Swings.
Wednesday, February 10: Ladies' Night
Sponsored by the Men's Group. Details to follow soon.
Sunday, February 14: Valentine Tea
2:00-4:00 p.m. Another one of our annual events, and a perfect gift for that special person.
